this is my favourite photo taken today. i took 109 photos today. if the rest 108 photos are ugly, i don't really mind. from the photo, it can be seen that i've taken it from below. after my second click, i realise the shot light at the top looks like a stage's light while the stick on her hand looks like an old mic. hence, the title of the photo. click on the picture to enlarge it, look at her eyes. she's looking into the camera. i'm serious! haha. i re-took it for about 8 or 9 times before i'm satisfied. lolx. i bet nobody in the exhibition has the photo shot in the same angle as me. this proves that short photographers also have benefits. hahaha..

below two photos are specially dedicated to gf whom can't wake up to join me at the exhibition. haha..

lastly, i know the four of them super out of theme. haha. but from the background of the photo, you should be able to guess that i'm at another exhibition hall already...

ok, i went to this anime fair at suntec this afternoon. i woke up late because i slept late last night at around 4am. i was told not to go home late but i was still late. never went to clubbing ok. (i know you all must be thinking of it. i was just hanging out somewhere. ) when i woke up and saw the time, i was like omg. i missed the cosplay competition already. zzz. nvm i'm sure i'll see some characters walking around.

when i reach there, i quickly make my way to the stage. the competition wasn't over yet. HOWEVER, the crowd is like A LOT. i gave up totally. i'm short and i don't have a tele len. don't waste my time and effort. some more, the stage has got bad lighting.. the competitors' faces are not very visible.

actually, the reason why i can upload photos taken today right after the event is only only because i have the mood, it is also due to the small number of photos i have taken. half way through the shooting, my memory card was already full! damn jialat. i started deleting all the badly takens one and i have no choice but to perfect all the shoots. one frame once only. i think this was why my photos became clearer after i noticed that my memory card has limited slots. if the shoot was not good enough, i'll delete them right after i take it and re-take again. ha. i was fast and panicking like siao.

haix. my right hand is too weak liao. i already told myself not to be too excited and must be stable liao lor. in addition, i think i too long never use my dslr already. many of the photos i shoot are blurred. the lack of flash attributes to the blurriness.. not that my camera doesn't have a flash, it is just that i don't like the harsh lighting. 98% of the photographers there have external flash with diffusers. haix. to add on to the blur photos, they are 'noisy' too because in order to speed up my shutter for my weak hands, i have to up my iso which results in the noise. =((( i'm willing to trade a doraemon electric guitar for a dslr external flash as christmas present temporarily. haix. i will buy de. bo bian. always take photos indoor and at night. T.T

i don't dare to tell my photog mentor about the memory card incident. confirm chop chop will get scolding. haha. well, in a way, the lack of memory card can be good also.. because i have to be trained to shoot fast and change my habit of snapping a few photos per frame. then after i gotta select the best one and the whole process of selection and editing is VERY tiring. all these benefits are at the expense of better photos. HAIX. so is it good or bad?

as promised to yn. i shall answer all her questions now.
1) why you never take more photos?
ans: as you can read from the above. well, although i never take many, i tried to take the best one. i cramped my face for about 3 minutes and look into my viewfinder just for one shot ok..

2) why are you so in front?
ans: this is not because of my dslr and hence, i look pro ok? lolx. -.- it is just because there weren't many people.

3) the most regretful reason for not going there.
ans: i think people who bought their books can take photo with them using their own cameras. do you feel like dying now? LOLX. i know that feeling. it is worse than recession and being retrenched. hahahaha.. some of them also receive hugs from them. =x yn, please don't do anything foolish! lolx!!

4) you never ask me this but i'm still going to say it. after i finish shooting at the anime event, i went to the book fest to walk walk.. after a while when i'm inside, i heard the emcee at the stage in the middle of the hall said ".... Energy ...." i was like wow i actually can meet some foreign idols accidentally. but hor, but hor, i continue to walk around to look at stuffs as if i never hear it. LOL.. i know you feel like scolding me right. hahaha.. then i slowly stroll over.. and i remembered that you will want at least one photo of them. i walked through the chairs in front of the stage wait for the people to finish taking photos. prepare steadily, check camera settings. ha, i only take like 10 minutes in total to take a photo of them? the people there waited several hours?

that's about all for today.

now, i'll want to talk about yesterday.

yesterday early afternoon, i online and chatted with hengky. as usual, the question "never go out?" will always pop up. he told me he may have dinner with his usual clique. i was like 'wah, that's great. i want to join too.' as you may know, i always like to execute the once-a-while-have-dinner-friends idea. but he said not confirm yet, will tell me later. so ok lo, what you want me to say. then, 6pm already i still haven't receive any reply. i already know that i'll not go dinner with them. at 825pm, he messaged me if i have my dinner already not. wah lao. i will never wait until 830pm to eat dinner de lor unless there is some special reason. still ask if i got wait for him not. =.= then he told me he is at bedok eating with his clique and he forgot to tell me. WTH.

he and his clique super buay steady one. i already told him i'm missing my hat which is a gift from my gf and want to take it back when i was online. even if your clique had not confirm yet, you still can agree first one what.. a dinner with a friend should be fine right. some more, you have to return something to your friend. if later your clique confirm liao, then all the better it is. as the saying goes, the more the merrier. if i analysed the situation this way, i can only conclude that he doesn't like to eat dinner with me. -.- lolx. fine. ya, and his clique also the same; only settle things several hours in advanced. they win. i think the only steady one in the whole group is yun long liao from that time i saw him outside zouk. haha.

coincidentally, nicholas called me at 6pm. he asked me to go play bowling. i don't like to play bowling. the one sport that i really don't fancy playing will be bowling. but never mind la, i go show face for awhile. kao, there was a freaking long queue at downtown east bowling alley. we waited for 1.5 hours and still not our turn yet. after about 1 hour of waiting, his friend told him he gotta go soon. it was also freezing cold there so while nicholas went to check out the queue, i went to ntuc to purchase my favourite seaweed potato chip. when i was back, his friends told me he had already left. WTH again.

his action really shocked me. he always has quite a good temper from what i know and never did such thing. his friend said he got pissed off when his friend suggested to play next time instead. this is seriously weird cause' his friend has already inform him that he needs to go off soon. and i saw the message he sent to another of his friend present. it goes some thing like that "how can you expect me not to get pissed off after waiting for 3 hours for that friend (who pissed him off)?" another weird point here. when did he start timing? before we arranged to meet, he is at office working. he meant that he worked while he waited? =.= whatever la. lazy to ask.

there is nothing such as men's talk. i do not know about watches, only know a bit about cars. what more do they talk about? career? ladies have their careers too. well, the 3 guys were talking about sex in front of me. LOL. do i look like a guy to them? they were saying that one of their common friend has a long list of pornography website. it takes 5 minutes to scroll through the whole list. hahaha. when asked why he has the hell long list of them, he said he shares with his father. =.= still got some other things with regards to the same topic la, but i barely remember already.

i've survived two days with 7 cups of water, one packet of potato chips, one waffle, one taiwanese sauage and two chicken wings. LOL. suffering from some digestion problem i think. i think a few more rounds of it, i'll get thinner. i'm machiam the babies who suffered from having too much melamine. it is just that they dont have output while i don't have input. lolx.
