I've typed the following using my phone a few weeks ago. i'm proud of myself. haha. but i've just edited some parts of it. disclaimer: i'm not referring to myself.

It is always not good to be too extreme, do you not agree? one is too emotional while the other too rational. Emotions and rationality usually work in different direction. when both cannot understand how the party works, I think the relationship might not work out eventually... I think a clean break up is better..

do people really understand what is understanding? I doubt so for many people. it is not easy to feel the true meaning of 'understanding'.

My last and best guess to why that party who can't feel the emotions will be because there is not much emotions in that person which I think is quite true. i have a friend who will just 'Hais.. Never mind..' and let the issue just fade away when sometimes somethings happen. I guess maybe she doesn't want to get too emotionally involved with that incident or she gets over things easily or she doesn't want to share or by the time I asked, that incident had already happened quite long ago.
Everyone surely will have something that each cannot give in, if not it will be that person give in until limit is reached. Ok, let's say there is something you really cannot give in or understand. Just take it as a fact. It is the same as studying for exam. You know this part will surely be tested but you just don't get it... In the end, you will take it as a fact and memorize it... An example of what girls might not know about guys' way of thinking is: why you can stay out late but I cannot. guys will tell the girls tons of reasons or excuses but some girls still cannot get it. in this case, I tell you, just treat it as it is the 'guys thing' and their preference. it is not very meaningful to really find out the real reasoning behind it because the end result is still the same... There is a saying 'there is no need to understand girls, just love them.' it works vice versa.

End of the story: in any kind of relationship, mutual understanding (good way of saying) is essential. The bad way of saying will be mutual tolerance is inevitable. Haha.

What I've learnt recently is treat people that you love as babies. Because like babies, anyone will need love, care, concern, protection and be pampered even when the person grows up. (take note: I really meant anyone, be it male or female.) it really worked well and keep relationships fresh... you may treat people that way because you love them and want to let them feel it... Most probably, you'll overlook if they treated you back the same way.

When you hold them like gems in your hand, you will only want to give them the best that you can do.

Maybe next time when my mum ask me again why I would want so many friend, I think I will tell her that so that I'll feel rich. Haha.
