wah seh.. i haven't wrote a post for more than two months le! what a deserted blog. maybe i should just delete the blog.. quite silly to leave it here to rot...

yesterday went to Irene's wedding. feel happy for her. haha. but i think my angbao like give to little. =XXX a bit regret now. haha. damn it. her wedding dresses are pretty.. but she is too skinny. she is the type that is left with bone and skin only. she is skinner than Chin ghee!!

I went to the wedding with.. a group of friends. they worked in AIA while i was at UBS. weird i know. but we met! so i entasked Raymond to ask his gf if Barclays has any internship. i missed the deadline i know! probably no internship. but it is also good if have any temporary position. going into bank industry is either you go into a lousy bank that nobody wants / you go into a good bank because you have a good degree / you go into a good bank because of networking. at least this is what i see and what others told me. let me pray for the best for this!

on the other hand, Jilu says if i want to be a broker, i need to get the license issued by the Institute of Bank Management. it is a self study thingy. i think there are two categories. one is for futures. another one is for equity i think. my lecturer says if i want to go into risk management, i would first need to go in and try.. then as i receive more experience and want to further study, can take up Financial engineering like he is doing now. useful insights!

right now, let me think about where i want to go first! but i know, it is definitely not the retail banking. what is left that i know will be investment and corporate banking and private wealth management....

seems like my europe trip need to cancel le. nobody has the money / time to go. even my backup plan faces restriction from bf. quite unhappy with it but i think despite so i should still heed their advices. right now, is either i go taiwan alone or with alex and gf hosting or i'll go japan if YX is there or can go with me.

actually going oversea is very easy de. only got 3 simple steps:
1) slot a credit/debit card at the keyboard keys' gap. (to look cool)
2) go an airline website, select the date and country and purchase the air ticket.
3) inform your parents any time even one or two day before you take off.

but i tell you, travelling is all about if you had the time AND money. it worked like that. you can't have one of them only.
